Client 1st Financial Provides Funds to Grant for Bethlehem Nonprofit
Funds will aid New Bethany Ministries via Pennsylvania’s Neighborhood Assistance Program.
Fogelsville, PA (January 18, 2023) - Client 1st Financial (C1F) has contributed $35,000 to New Bethany Ministries (NBM) through Pennsylvania’s Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). As the lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to affect the Lehigh Valley, C1F felt inspired to partner with NBM and broaden its ability to help those experiencing poverty, hunger, and homelessness.
NBM will use these funds to help lessen the lasting impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on impoverished families and children in the Lehigh Valley region by expanding its Housing Advocate program at three Bethlehem Area School District elementary and middle schools. The Housing Advocate program works to provide case management and tenant navigation to families facing housing insecurity.
“We at Client 1st Financial are honored to be a small part of the important work that New Bethany Ministries does every day,” says Michael Fischer, president and CEO of C1F. “Like many of our customers, Client 1st is dedicated to charitable giving, so we continually advocate giving back to our community. It feels good to support an organization like New Bethany that truly changes the lives of local individuals and families.”
NAP grants are extended to organizations that address neighborhood and community problems in low-income areas. Those receiving grants must serve low-income residents of communities in need; projects must involve affordable housing, community economic development, community services, crime prevention, education, job training, neighborhood assistance, or neighborhood conservation.
